Modern hospitals face a problem they never had before: to be competitive in marketing their services. Today they must inform and convince potential “customers” of the value, quality and availability of the health care they provided — without sounding mercenary about it. Here are a series of ads, mailers and radio spots for St. Helena Hospital of Adventist Health that do just that.

Each piece had to dramatized both the kind of health concerns their audience had, as well as portraying the solutions which these hospitals provided.The goal and measurement of their effectiveness was when the ad ran, the inquiries to the hospitals increased.
